The wireless MX Master 4 is designed for ergonomic, focussed work without loud clicking noises. You should be able to access your most important software functions even faster.

With the MX Master 4, Logitech launches the successor to the popular MX Master 3S, which came onto the market in 2022. There is now haptic feedback for the thumb button and you can use it to open a new quick access menu.

The mouse is available for Windows and Mac in light and dark grey.

As with its predecessor, the eight keys are insulated, making them 90 per cent quieter than usual, according to Logitech. The manufacturer promises a battery life of up to 70 days. Charging takes place via USB-C cable - which is not included.

Haptic feedback and quick access menu on the thumb button

The button on the thumb rest offers major changes. It provides haptic feedback for various actions. You can adjust the vibration strength in the Logitech software

You can also use the button to activate a new feature called «Actions Ring»: a circular quick access menu that appears on the screen. This menu can be assigned various programme-specific functions. Depending on which app you are currently using, it shows you the appropriate tools and can therefore make your workflow much faster and more convenient.

More features

You can connect the MX Master 4 to up to three devices via Bluetooth or Logi-Bolt USB dongle. There is a switch on the underside of the mouse that you can use to switch between the connected computers. As with the previous model, the rodent's scanning rate is up to 8000 DPI. The manufacturer promises that you can also use the mouse precisely on glass surfaces.

The aluminium scroll wheel allows you to scroll over 1000 lines per minute. The mouse is designed for the right hand. It weighs 150 grammes.

When you buy the MX Master 4, you get free access to the Adobe Creative Cloud apps, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, for one month. If you already have a plan, the month will be added to your regular term.
