Galaxus Internet now available to (pretty much) everyone
by Tobias Heller
The Galaxus plan portfolio is complete: after introducing its own mobile and internet plan, the online retailer has now added TV to its range. Galaxus TV costs eleven francs a month and includes 282 channels, a seven-day replay and live pause feature as well as enough memory to save 1,000 shows. There’s no TV box, no activation fees and no minimum contract duration.
After Galaxus Mobile and Galaxus Internet, Galaxus has completed its range of plans with the addition of Galaxus TV. Galaxus TV costs eleven francs per month, making it one of the cheapest deals on the market. The plan is available individually or in combination with an internet- and/or a mobile plan. There’s currently no package discount if you get all three.
Further add-ons are in the pipeline, reveals Andreas Kundert, Head of Galaxus Mobile, Internet and TV: «We want to expand our range to include options such as sports, entertainment and language packs.»
Galaxus TV doesn’t require a TV box. All you need is an internet-enabled device and the Galaxus TV app to watch your favourite shows on your TV at home, or in the app or a web browser when you’re on the go.
Galaxus TV is available on the following devices and platforms:
Galaxus Internet contracts have no minimum contract. If you want to cancel, the termination takes effect from the end of the following month. Simple, with no fuss.
Galaxus TV uses the Zattoo TV streaming technology platform. This means that Zattoo takes care of the entire technical infrastructure and the smooth operation of the TV service. This includes providing all content, the technical platform and working on the Galaxus TV app for various devices.
Galaxus is responsible for the entire ordering process and plan management. The online retailer’s customer service team provides support if further questions arise.
Like the sound of Galaxus TV? Do you even still watch traditional television or do you only use Netflix, Sky and the like? We’re looking forward to your comments.
