Digitec Podcast Episode 116: Intel beats AMD at its own game

Intel wants to take back the crown from AMD with its new CPUs, and not only through performance. Samuel tells us what he thinks of the iPhone 14 Pro and the Apple Watch Ultra. Domi watched the Gamestop saga and I discovered "FIFA23" for myself.
According to Intel's own information, the 13th generation of Intel's processors not only achieve speed records. They are also cheaper than AMD's alternatives and still use the previous socket and are still DDR4-compatible. Is the next changing of the guard coming? HBO has released the first trailer for "The Last of Us" series, which has Domi in particular looking forward to it. Disappointing, on the other hand, is the now fifth postponement of the pirate game "Skull & Bones".
Samuel has taken a look at the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch Ultra, strapped them to his wrist respectively, and tells us what he thinks of them.
Domi has watched the Netflix series on the Gamestop stock market adventure and is not fully convinced. I have played a "FIFA" for the first time and set out to win the Champions League with FC Winterthur. Domi played the beta for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" and got stuck in for a surprisingly long time.

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
