Best server housing ever
I am completely satisfied with this housing. I rebuild my Dual Xeon E5-2670 v3 that were completely over heating with water cooling from a Tower PC case into this housing. I also replace the water cooling with 2x Intel STS200C so to fit it inside the 2u size housing. Strangely enough now it is no more overheating at all! The metal use for the case seems to do an amazing jobs at dispersing heated produce by the CPU and the 3x SAS and 1x SATA disk. The fan connected to the back-plane does not seems to provide much in term of airflow... until you close the lid. Before the disk were overheating even when left outside the tower casing... no more. Additionally it's completely quiet!
I got this for only CHF 175 it's worth it just for the SAS back-plane and disk enclosure which is the best I have seen... it directly connected to the back-plane instead of trying to add a layer like Dell.
If it goes back done under CHF 180 I would def buy some more.
