effectively kills static noise
This Monacor piece of hardware managed well to clean up the noise on the audio line as Aux input to a JBL Charge 4. When both audio and USB lines were connected I always had a level of noise that I couldn't get rid of, even connecting to the same PC, a nearby USB port, external ones, different cables, separate DAC, nothing worked. But Monacor. So I totally recommend it.
In my case, contrary to their documentation, which side was connected where mattered. In one direction is was completely silent so turn it around if that happens to you too.
