Tiptop bis auf einen mangel
Eigentlich alles tiptop, akku hält lange (der eigentliche grund wiso ich mein altes nach 6 jahren tauschte da akku leistung nachlies) super basisstation, qualitativ sehr hochwertig, bis auf das Mikrofon ich weis nich ob ich ein fehlerhaftes oder das wirklich so ist aber im Vergleich zu meinem a50 gen2 ist es viel schlechter man hört mich auch sehr dumpf und da es hald noch keine grossen Reviews giebt kan ich leider aktuel nur schlecht sagen ob das der grund ist oder nicht.…plus

eines der besten kabellosen Headsets, wenn nicht das beste!
Zur Ergänzung betreffend Benutzung für die PS5 - absolut nicht brauchbar! Man braucht einen zusätzlichen Adapter (Kostenpunkt 30-50CHF) der aber dann einfach Sound überträgt. Die hohe Audioqualität der Astro Headsets geht dadurch gänzlich verloren.
Aktuell (stand 23.11.2020) ist das Sony 3D Pulse Standard Headset wohl die beste (wenn auch nicht gute) Lösung.

Ich habe das Gen3 durch das Gen4 ersetzt.
Soundtechnisch und Tragekomfort habe ich keine grossen Veränderungen feststellen können.

Great wireless headset. Worth the price. Does have a few minor issues.
The Astra A50 is an awesome headset. I opted for Astro, since around 3 years ago, I had an A40 and loved the quality.
The A50 is no different. The audio quality is outstanding. The microphone quality is very decent too, but I my friends via Discord did mention, that the headset microphone I was using before, did sound better (Sennheiser PC 373D).
Receiving the headset, I had to charge it for almost half a day, for it to reach 100% (around 10-12 hours).
The installation of the software was very easy and self explanatory. The Command Center Software is very easy to use and allows you to customize your audio to a large extent.
The distance the headset works is rather decent. I can get behind 2 walls and be around 4 meters away from the base station, and the headset will work most of the time. Any closer and it works perfectly.
But there are some issues with the headset:
At first, the headset hurt to wear for more than 2 hours. I have since gotten used to it and the headset seems to have fit to my head - this took around 5 days to become comfortable.
The microphone standard is set to play your voice back (side tone) to you. I myself find that feature very annoying. You can disable it via the Command Center (desktop app), but every 2nd time I boot my PC, the feature is activated again, although the software says that it is turned off. It's annoying having to slide the side tone up, release, and slide back to off, to fix this.
Speaking of the microphone, the feature to "flip up to mute" is great. Many headsets have this, including the A50. But there's a huge issue. About every 3rd or 4th time, I flip my microphone down to unmute it, it doesn't unmute. I have to physically flip it back up to the mute position, and flip it back down to get it to unmute.
Another small issue is the voilume wheel on the headset. I like to wear hoodies at home, during the winter, with the cap/hoodie down. If I'm wearing my headset and hoodie, and turn my head, there's a great chance that my voilume gets lowered. This is a small issue which I personally have, but I could see other people facing the same problem.
Lastly, the Dolby Atmos sounds like a cool feature, but I have yet to be able to set it up correctly, for it to work well during gaming. In games like CSGO, it's impossible to hear where steps and shots are coming from, with Atmos activated. I advise to use the normal Astro-audio settings when gaming. It could be that Atmos is more optimized for movies and shows, but the A50 is a gaming headset and Atmos is clearly not optimized for gaming.
That all being said, I'd still recommend this headset for people willing to pay the price. I'm sure that there are cheeper wireless headphones out there, which do the same job. But I'm just a gamer who wanted to get his hands on an A50 after experiencing the A40's a few years ago.…plus

Vorab ich mag astro aber was sie als neu bezeichnen kann ich nur lachen.
Fazit dieses Headset ist nicht geil für den Preis. Ich empfehle lieber dass alte Modell oder direkt das a40 oder halt eine andere Marke.

Loin devant le Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless
Après un peu plus d’un an d’utilisation du Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, j’arrive sur le Astro avec un peu de peur car j’adorais mon ancien casque. Dès que j’ai essayé l’Astro, j’ai compris que mon ancien casque n’était pas si bien que ça.
Tout est mieux, le son, les réglages du son, la qualité du micro, le confort (avis perso vu que je porte des lunettes, il y avait comme un bruit de grincement à cause de ces dernières, j’ai du commander des oreillettes type astro sur wish pour régler le soucis mais bon quand on paye 300.- on aimerait les avoir incluses)
Le casque est certes un peu cher, jusqu’à 250.- je pense qu’il vaut son prix mais au-dessus ça fait un peu trop pour ce qu’il propose.
Et un gros point noir, après c’est juste moi qui n’a pas encore pris la main peut-être, mettre son casque sur la base et qu’il charge du premier coup est quasiment impossible, il faut vraiment bien le placer avec les deux mains et je me retrouve des fois à devoir le lever 3-4 fois histoire de bien le mettre à charger. …plus

Super teill
Habe mir das Astro a50 mit ladestation vor etwas 2 Monaten gekauft.
bis jetzt kann ich mich nicht beklagen, lauft ohne probleme.
Was ich auch sehr feier ist die Software was sehr gute einstellungen bittet und sehr einfach aufgebaut ist.

Ich kann das Headset jedem empfehlen :)
Ich bin Astro sehr dankbar das man nun endlich den Stoff bei Ohr und Kopf neu kaufen und rein setzen kann.
Den Akku kann man mit einem Tutorial ebenfalls einfach austauchen falls dieser nach gefühlt 10 Jahren nicht mehr so gut funktioniert :)

Mir ist nicht klar, wieso dieses Headset so gehyped wird. Das Mikrofon ist unterirdisch schlecht, der Tragkomfort ist alles andere als gut (wer kommt auf die Idee, bei einem solch schweren Kopfhörer das Polster so klein und dünn zu gestalten???), die Ohrpolster sind eher schmal bemessen. Die mit abstand grösste Enttäuschung ist der Sound, der ist auf Niveau eines 30-50.- Headset. Der Hörer rauscht dauernd, was extrem störend ist und der Sound hat kein Fülle, er ist schwach und blechern… ich weiss einfach nicht, wie dieses Headset solch gute Referenzen in den Tests bekommen konnte… da aus Hygienegründen Headsets nicht retourniert werden können, muss ich es wohl oder übel behalten, kann aber nur jedem abraten diesen Schrott zu kaufen, für 300.- bekommt ihr weit bessere Headsets!…plus

Warum haben diese Kopfhörer mehr als 2 Sterne?
Meine Logitech G933 sind mittlerweile einige Jahre alt und funktionieren noch einwandfrei, aber ich wollte mal was Neues und habe mich dann für die Astro 50 entschieden. Die Entscheidung kam nach einem Artikel bei Galaxus/Digitec, in dem diese Kopfhörer als "Die Besten" gepriesen wurden.
Jetzt, nach etwa 20 Stunden Nutzung, bin ich so fassungslos von diesem Bericht, dass ich es kaum in Worte fassen kann, ich versuche es aber mal.
Die Sound Qualität dieser Kopfhörer ist dermassen schlecht in den Standardeinstellungen, dass ich nicht weiss, wie man überhaupts etwas positives darüber sagen kann. Es klingt schlicht so, als wenn jemand mit seinem Handy Sound vom Fernseher aufnimmt und das dann in den Kopfhörern abspielt. Es ist extrem dumpf, man hört wichtige Sounds bei CoD Warzone überhaupt nicht mehr und insgesamt klingt es wie ein 4CHF Headset, den man damals in Internet Cafes hatte.
Nun gut, anscheinend muss dann halt den Equalizer anpassen, um den Sound zu optimieren. Und da fängt es schon an: Man muss fast schon studiert haben, um zu verstehen wie das mit den verschiedenen Freqzuenzbereichen und den dB dahinter funktioniert, bevor man überhaupt etwas sinnvolles machen kann. Aber ok, dann halt mal damit beschäftigt und losgelegt.
Schon das nächste Problem. Astro bietet nur 5 Frequenzbereiche an, die man beliebig einstellen kann. Die Frequenzen gehen so bis etwa 15000. Bei der Logitech G933 sind es satte 10 Frequenzbereiche, die bis 16000 gehen.
Nun habe ich ca. 3 Tage lang intensiv rum probiert, komplett verschiedene Einstellungen ausprobiert und mich sogar an die "Erweiterten Einstellungen" gewagt, mit der man noch kompliziertere Dinge einstellen kann. Das Ergebnis: der Sound gerade mal zu 50% an meine alten G933 ran. Das Sound klingt einfach dumpf, etwas weit weg (egal ob mit oder ohne Dolby Digital).
Lange Reder kurzer Sinn, kauft euch die G933. Und das war das erste und letzte mal, dass ich irgend einem Review von Galaxus/Digitec eine Zeile glaube.…plus
