Either original filters or no-name filters from eBay etc. - I have been using the NoName for years - we have tiled floors and the suction power is the same. NoName set (4x filter, 4x side brush, 1x main brush, 1x cleaning brush) for approx. 13 € (lasts us 2 years). You can also remove the fine dust in the filter with a normal hoover and use the filter again (tighten the mesh fabric on the inside of the filter with two fingers on the left and right and suck the fine dust back out of the ribs through the mesh fabric with a normal hoover at medium suction power). Look like new afterwards. Important in general, because the dust container in the vacuum cleaner is relatively small - empty the dust container after every vacuuming.

Helpful answer

We don't have any pets, so I can't say anything about long hair. The robot drives over thicker carpets without any problems and can in principle also drive over a small threshold. However, the threshold should have a small ramp and not a hard edge, otherwise the bumper will be triggered and the robot will turn around.

The Mi Robort is permanently connected to the router via WLAN. The app (iOS for me) not only works on the Wi-Fi, but also on the move (data connection). With the app, you can start the Mi Robot on the go and it also returns status messages via mobile phone (cleaning finished, etc.). Therefore, the Mi Robot cannot/must not be connected directly to the hotspot.

Check the packaging or the instructions to see which Wi-Fi radio standard the hoover requires. Then compare this with your Wi-Fi settings. It probably still uses b/g/n (2.4GHz) and you may already be on a higher version.

The note in the section "General Information - Power Adapter" shows that the unit is delivered with a Swiss plug. If this is not the case, Digitec will supply an adapter without further ado. All devices that are available in Europe have a CE marking (this is not a test but a self-disclosure by the manufacturer). Import and sale is not possible without CE!
