In terms of cleaning performance, both the Robot Vacuum and the Roborock 2 are simply very good at it. What's more, the Roborock 2 has a carpet detection mode, i.e. it will automatically increase the suction power on carpet (cool for people with parquet and carpet in the room). In addition, the Roborock 2 can climb over thresholds up to a maximum of 2 cm, while the Mi Robot Vacuum manages about 1.5 cm.

Another advantage is that the Roborock 2 HEPA filters are washable, while the Mi Robot Vacuum does not offer this feature. However, as the filters are very cheap and last a long time, this is not really a disadvantage. Side brushes and the large slat brush are the same on both devices.

The dust bin is a little bigger on the Roborock 2, but this is not noticeable. The dock has become smaller. However, I find the docking manoeuvre of the Mi Robot Vacuum really cool, it drives towards the dock, turns around and docks backwards, while the Roborock 2 drives directly from the front onto the ground contacts on the dock.

By the way, both robot hoovers come from Roborock, which means that the Roborock 2 is an upgrade, but if you have a Mi Robot Vacuum, you don't have to buy the new Roborock 2.
