No, this product only includes the tablet (with charging cable). Keyboard, pen and mouse must be ordered separately.
A USB-C port and the CPU supports the AVX-512 instruction set (if AVX-512 doesn't mean anything to you, you probably won't have any advantage there).
Yes, of course, via HDMI or DisplayPort cable or of course a monitor that already supports USB-C itself.
Via USB-C. I have two monitors connected to a normal USB-C dock in the office and a USB-C dongle on my laptop at home. When I'm on the road, I have a USB-C HDMI adapter with me in case I need to show something on a screen or beamer.
Is the system software up to date? This first. Then, if so, I would try to use another driver, possibly an older one. If all hope of a software fix has been abandoned (which seems to be the case according to your internet research), the last and most expensive option is to use a docking station. This is attached to the Surface connector and thus keeps USB-C out of the game.
No, it's not (but not to be expected in this price range). Use your mobile phone as a hotspot :-)
Theoretically, Windows 10 Home needs about 20GB of memory. I have also installed a 256GB SD card to store photos, music and videos. The internal memory remains free for programmes etc. and is sufficient for my applications (I have Win Pro installed). The device is absolutely top and fun to use, also because of the ingenious functions with the pen.
Did anyone tried to turbo boost for the processor and used the XTU, because it doesnt work at all...
I don't think so.. Also would not amke much sence on a mashine like that.
The built-in i5 is manufactured in 10nm. Intel cannot yet do 7nm, which is why it is not yet in the devices. But you don't "need" that, a notebook has too little cooling anyway to really benefit from (even more) performance, and Intel CPUs and especially chipsets are much more power-efficient than equivalent AMD hardware. Example? Despite the 3rd generation Ryzen, my PC at home consumes over 50 watts at idle. My old Intel i7 4790k (4th generation) needed just under 20 watts.
Here I assume that this Surface Pro has it. The description says... More connectivity options USB-C and USB-A ports for connecting to external displays, docking stations and other devices, as well as charging accessories. There are actually clear brands for the ports, but for technical design reasons this is rarely done. I hope I was able to answer your question.
Yes, that is possible. From model 4 onwards, even the dimensions of the keyboard are completely identical (model Surface Pro 3 was even a tad narrower)...
Hello Raephi, the Surface is not suitable for games. The graphics card requirements are not met and the storage space of 128GB is also very tight for SIMS4. You can upgrade the memory with a fast memory card but even then it is not recommended. If you google, you will see that others have already tried to start SIMS4. Even when it starts, the game often hangs. So if gaming is important, you'd better buy a laptop with a dedicated graphics card from HP, Lenovo or ASUS...
Goes close, would probably take a newer version to watch a lot of sports....
Microsoft Offic is pre-installed, but the licence must be provided by the device user, e.g. student login or via digital licence.
The trial version of Office 365 is pre-installed. You would still have to pay after 14 days.
I'm running a Dell D6000 docking station on the Surface Pro 7, and it works via both the USB-A and USB-C ports. So the D3100 should also work.
Hello, so whether your stuff is compatible also depends on which Surface you bought ? Which version ? 5,5 or 6 ? The other thing is I strongly advise you not to buy a Surface Pro 7 ! It's a Monday machine! Have had it replaced 2 times ! It has software bugs and overheats all the time, so the battery doesn't last long either ! I recommend you either buy a version 5 or 6 or wait for version 8 !!!! You will have no joy with this version whether i3 i5 or i7 I have nübergangsweise Occasion the version 5 with m processor bought. costs almost nothing more about 300fr Ricardo. Has zwwar not much power but for surfing and the like wonderful and the battery lasts forevers ! It doesn't get warm and has no fan. When the 8 is out and the prices are a bit lower you can buy this one for example. Greetings
i can connect mine directly to a DELL U2721DE via USB-C cable, while also powering it at the same time.
No, the Type Cover and Pen must each be purchased separately; sometimes there are so-called bundle offers, which currently include a Type Cover.
This is also the case for me. The Surface only has version 1909, whereas my computer is already running version 2004.
Normally, the keyboard must be purchased separately with all Surface Pro products. Unless it says in the description that it is included. For example, with a special offer. I don't think it's included here.
Thank you for your answers. The matter has been clarified. The listing of the keyboard in the specifications is misleading, because there is no hardware keyboard included. This must be purchased separately.
I recommend Dicota Antiglare for Microsoft Surface Pro 4 / 5 / 6 (12.30", 3 : 2) - although it is only for sticking on, it has the advantage that it serves directly as a screen protector and can be replaced if necessary (in case of scratches).
