As of 18.01.21, my listeners have a significant delay between sound and picture when watching videos (Youtube, broadcast recordings SRF-Sport app). According to the digitec magazine article https://www.digitec.ch/de/page/sennheiser-momentum-true-wireless-2-die-probleme-sind-passe-16031, this problem should not occur thanks to AptX Low Latency support; does this protocol have to be set manually (use an iPhone11)? How? Other tips? Especially annoying; the already older Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 1 Over-Ear (March 2017) have no problem with delay! Furthermore, for the life of me, I can't tell the difference between ANC on and ANC off when I'm out and about; how do you guys feel about this? Did I get a model that came from a mothballed factory?
@beguelin The delay is only so great because the iPhone can only receive AAC and the headphones only run without delay via aptx. They have been tested on Iphones. See there (https://www.computerbase.de/2020-11....) Maybe aptx runs on newer versions of the Iphones. With Android, Aptx can also only be enabled via developer options. This also causes delays with ignorance if you don't know it.
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless delay of 60-80 ms (Android, aptX) / 160-180 ms (iOS, AAC)
I have this problem with my laptop when I stop the sound about 3 times and let it run again. Then I have to reconnect and the problem occurs again after 5 minutes.
Very annoying. Pairing with the laptop was also difficult.
Sound TOP
Otherwise very satisfied with the voice quality! Very much so!
No, an overpriced model.
I have the same problems. (Samsung & notebook) The sound is good, but the delay is simply not acceptable for such a high-priced product.
ANC is actually relatively weak too. It only filters out a certain area.
But the sound is cool and so is the battery life - that's why I'm keeping them.
