I doubt it very much. It is powered by the USB connection and I don't think the tablet can supply enough power. It has two USB cables, so it can be connected to two USB ports at the same time to provide sufficient power.
Yes and no. My Surface power supply has a second USB port (for charging), so the second plug can go in there.
The DVD burner needs two USB ports because of the power consumption. In my opinion, the data plug goes into the Surface and the additional power supply USB plug into a USB power supply (e.g. something like this: item no. 5870919).Please let us know which Surface you have and how you actually solved it.
The drive is already in a case and looks very smart next to a laptop. Or do you mean something like an additional rubber cover? According to my information, there is no such thing.
Unfortunately, I can't answer this question because I don't play games on my PC. But the drive is very reliable and I am very satisfied with it. I think you could also use it for games.
Hello,
Do you mean all asus computers? If so, yes, it will work on any computer regardless of the brand because it is just an external DVD drive/writer
Hi. You're not the only one to whom this happens. With one graphics card, the difference was almost Chf 50. I can only advise you to contact customer service - unfortunately there is nothing the community can do.
The drive is supplied with a Y-USB cable, so it could be connected to two USB sockets on the host. However, this is a) not necessary with modern hardware as there is usually enough power available on one port and b) not provided for in the USB specification. Therefore, I simply leave the second USB-A plug unplugged, and it works fine.
Since it is a DVDRW device, it can write DVDs as well as CDs.
Hello,
The cable has two connectors so that the drive is connected to the PC with one connector and the second connector is for the additional power supply. You would have to connect the drive with both USB ports so that it really receives enough power. It is possible that the power supply via one USB port is sufficient for just playing the CD/DVD. I don't think you can use another USB cable.
