Doesn't the promo also come with the Buds like the competitor instead of with the mobile subscription...? I'd rather have it cheaper than with a subscription that I can't use anyway...

hello. the promotion is running after all......is stated on the website. at the top it says with a free additional product. and further down under the tab "With a free additional product" everything is explained. 
The promo runs via samsung anyway and the buds are sent by samsung after registration....so it doesn't matter through which retailer the purchase is made.
