Question about Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter

Hi. I am looking for a device that connects my Bluetooth headset to an audio system that has two 3.5mm sockets. So it should feed the microphone of the headset via 3.5mm into the system and at the same time pass the audio of the system via 3.5mm to the headset. As far as I can see, this should be possible, as the outputs are available (in and out 3.5mm). Can anyone confirm this?

The Bose Link is probably already aimed at a Bose system. Bose's idea is to make an outdated, analogue hi-fi system usable for web services. There is also a special app from Bose that can only be used for this. I therefore think headphones or headsets from third parties are not compatible. But Bose has a support team that might be able to help.
