Yes, I tested it earlier and it worked for me without any problems.
Hello, For the adapter to work, the USB-C of a device must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (native video transmission via UBS-C). Kind regards i-tec team -------------------------------------------- Hello, In order for the adapter to work, a device's USB-C must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (native Video transfer over UBS-C). Best Regards i-tec Team
I bought this for a Macbook Pro 15" and it works quite well, the Mac immediately recognises the HDMI monitor and expands the desktop automatically. Cool stuff
As long as the USB port is fast enough for the resolution, there is no reason why this should not work.
According to our enquiry with the supplier, this adapter only manages WQHD with 60 Hz.
Not all devices with a USB-C connection support the Alt Mode (sometimes also called Alternate Mode), which is required for the HDMI (and DisplayPort) connection. Most adapters use this Alt Mode (hence the reference in the product description) of USB-C, most new devices with USB-C also support this, but unfortunately not all (since it works for you with the S10e and not with the Tab A, I assume that the S10e supports this and the Tab A does not; to be sure: this should be in the specs of these products).
Should work. We have several such adapters in use, connected to beamers/monitors, and there are no problems. MacBook Pros (2019 models) are also in use. There are several sources of error: a) the adapter is defective, b) the HDMI cable is not suitable/defective,/too long, c) Mac does not recognise external monitor (for this: Switch on the monitor, connect the HDMI cable, connect the adapter to the HDMI cable and only then to the Mac) d) USB-C port on the Mac is defective or there is dirt in the port (under Apple > About this Mac > System report > USB > something is detected, possibly connect something else).
Habe ich noch nicht probiert. Aber vielleicht hilft dies weiter: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/catalinas-hdr-bug-with-external-display.2228052/
--------------------- Hello, According to the manual, your laptop has 2x USB-C ports - but only one of them is compatible with the USB-C port that is the farthest from the hinge. The second port doe snot support USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode and the adapter will not work. If the adapter does not work with either of the ports, can you please send an e-mail to our Technical support? Our e-mail is support@itecproduct.com Best regards i-tec Team
With the 2018 MacBook Pro (MacBookPro15,1) it works...
