I have the problem that the plug often loses the connection to the wifi. I then have to reset it and reconnect it. Anyone have the same experience?

Yes, I also have this problem. I finally wanted to put the two WLAN switches into operation (I bought them at the beginning of January 2021) - I had practised for a long time with the first switch until I had it on the LAN (without WPS). Finally I succeeded and everything seemed to work. The next day I saw that the control light was slowly flashing red ... no more connection... - in the evening it lit up white again ... - but it didn't last long before I discovered that it was flashing red again. - so it is not usable for me. Without further ado I installed the second one - this time the configuration (again without WPS) went pretty smoothly ... - but again, after a short time it was flashing red again .... the WLAN AP is only a few metres away and otherwise causes no problems with the other numerous devices (FritzBox).
As it looks, I'll stick with the Smart-Me switches (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/smart-me-smart-plug-zwischenstecker-3826545), whose mobile phone software is unfortunately pretty lousy, but are otherwise reliable once they're up and running ...

I have three in use (with the original firmware). The fountain switches with sunrise and sunset, the media centre switches in standby mode (power-saving function) and one is only for measuring. It has been working without problems for a few months.

I have never had this problem before. But I have also installed an ESPHome firmware ;-)

At least now an ESP32 is used in contrast to the old Atheros design, where the hardware watchdog has a bug ;-)
