The adapter did not fit on my ASUS G551JK. The height was tight and the original cover could no longer be fitted - without destroying it! With your ASUS it might work, but there is a risk if you can't return it. My tip: If speed (SSD installation) is the reason to buy - save the 40.-CHF and invest in a bigger SSD (512GB or more) right away. Good products are available from 150 CHF and installation
(replacement of the built-in HD) is no problem. This can be reused as an external HD, for example.
Should actually fit in any slimline drive. I've had mine in continuous operation for half a year. Works flawlessly!
