Fractal Node 202 (HTPC)

Question about Fractal Node 202 (HTPC)

User HYPERTiZ

if you aren not using a K or AMD it's perfectly fine;
however if you are I would say its best to get the Big S Rev B., it will cool a k and AMD well at 70c max unlike say a Cryorig C7 and L9i at beyond 80c even to 90c.

It will definitely fit; some people can remove the dustfilter and in some cases its perfect with the dust filter too (assuming its the orientation though..)

You could go for a Noctua NH-L9i. I've seen builds in the Node 202 using this one.

if he isnt using a K its perfectly fine;
however if he does then its mandatory since it can cook a k well at 70c unlike say a Cryorig C7 and L9i at beyond80c even to 90c.

I would not recommend the Noctua NH-L9i. I use it on a 1800x. And it is loud. Honestly: Buy a bigger case and a bigger cooler, it's way more versatile. And the couple of inches you save here are not worth the noise.

Nope, that don't fit. Max. height that will fit is 5.6cm. Maybe this Alpenföhn Silvretta (4.50cm) would be enough. 4.5cm. But, I don't know if it's a good cooler or nor.

amid the specifications many have built their Node 202 with a BS2.

if he isnt using a K its perfectly fine;
however if he does; then its mandatory since it can cool a k really well at 70c unlike say a Cryorig C7 and L9i at beyond 80c even to 90c due to the non static TDP nature of the k.

It will definitely fit; some people decided to remove the dustfilter and in some cases its perfect with the dust filter too (assuming its the orientation with the cooler and the fan's facing?)
