Question about Epson Perfection V850 Pro

The scanner comes with SE Plus. I upgraded to Studio because only this version can handle 16 bit colour depth. The programme needs time to get used to, but then it works very well.

As far as I know it is SilverFast 8 SE Plus. But I upgraded to SilverFast 8 Ai and then switched back to Epson Scan. SilverFast is very complex and time-consuming. The scanning possibilities are extremely high, but the effort is only worth it for single images. The scanner itself is pretty perfect and with Epson Scan software very comfortable, even for large scan quantities. The use of transmitted light brings very good comfort and quality even with 24x36 mm slides. I used the scanner for several thousand pictures and photos. A final processing in PS from Epson Scan Software brings very good results. I can only recommend the scanner. The accessories are also very good and plentiful.
