Question about Google Pixel 4a
Will this product now also be capable of VoLTE / Wifi calling in Switzerland? This was confirmed for the Pixel 4 (and the device would also be capable of this), but it is not supported by the providers.
It's up to the network operator, and they usually only support devices that they sell themselves. In any case, my 4a does not offer wifi calling with Salt (prepaid) and Yallo (subscription).
As far as I know, wifi calling is not a question of hardware but of the OS, and Android should already support it from version 6. But as Sherwoodfox has already correctly recognised, the lame providers in Switzerland do not support the feature, just as they do not support Visual Voicemailbox :(
