Will this monitor work with both pc and mac? I've got IBM and Acer laptops I'll want to use with it, as well as an older macbook air and a macbook pro. I plan to connect the monitor to a docking station - any recommendations for a good one?

Yes, it works both with PC and Mac. As long as you have the correct cable for it, it just works. You will need an HDMI 2.0 cable to benefit from the full resolution or a display port cable.
