Question about GoPro Battery Hero 8 / 7 / 6
Will the Hero 7 battery still fit?
It is slightly more complicated. The battery for the Hero 5/6/7 no longer works for the Hero 8 (it does, but if you tear off the tab, for example, there is no warranty claim because you used the wrong battery for the Hero 8).
According to GoPro and Digitec, the battery for the Hero 8 also works for the Hero 6 and Hero 7, but NOT for the Hero 5...
So only the "blue" battery MAY be used for the Hero 8! So you are allowed to buy a new set of replacement batteries!
Customer-friendly is different, but this is probably part of GoPro's business model.....
