Will the Dell UltraSharp U4025QW work with a Macbook Air, M2, 2022? And second question: is it possible to use another Dell screen (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/dell-ultrasharp-u2723qe-3840-x-2160-pixel-27-monitor-18708975) in portrait mode with the setup (total 2 screens: 1 x curved, 1 x normal in portrait mode. Thanks for advice.

The Dell UltraSharp U4025QW can be used with the MacBook Air M2 via Thunderbolt 4 and also offers a Thunderbolt 4 downstream port that supports video and data forwarding for daisy chaining. However, for a dual monitor setup with a second display such as the Dell U2723QE, daisy chaining is not usable as the U2723QE is not a Thunderbolt display and does not support macOS MST over DisplayPort. Both monitors must therefore be connected separately to the MacBook so that they are recognised as two independent displays. The Ethernet connected to the U4025QW is easily forwarded to the MacBook via the USB-C/Thunderbolt cable.

Would it then be possible to connect the Macbook with only one USB-C cable, but access both screens (curved and portrait) at the same time? and second question: I assume USB-C then also supports Ethernet, which is connected to the curved screen?
