Will it work with & fit the spacing of the new M1 Macbook Air?
I would like to have this as well as a stationary one with as many USB-A / USB-C / Thunderbolt ports as possible as well as a Mini Display Port / Display port and then :-P preferably also non a built-in reader for CF & SD cards...

No does not work properly! Especially not HDMI! In the end I bought Caldigit TS3 PLUS and since then I have never regretted spending so much money.
