Question about ASUS PCE-AX58BT AX3000 WiFi 6 Adapter

So if I build this card on a x1 PCIe slot of version 3.0, I reach the 2400 mbits without problems. I have a confusion with these GBits and Gigabytes. One site says that I can achieve 0.985 GByte/s with version 3.0 on a PCIe x1 slot. In that case I have read wrong. Thank you trz.

1 PCIe lane theoretically makes just under 1gByte/s, that's 8gbit/s or 8000mbit/s. So the interface should work. The rest depends on the propagation conditions of the WLAN and the remote station.
