Will a Model M keyboard work with it? (These typically require more power than many other keyboards due to their age and do not work with every adapter).

I can't say anything specific about it. I use this converter to connect the network cable from the router to a USB plug because my network plug has a loose contact somehow. It undoubtedly doesn't need much power, but it works fine.
