Why is this product sold at such a high price? In the German store of Digitec (galaxus.de), the product is sold for EUR 749.00. Converted to CHF 826.00 (exchange rate as of 29.10.19). Here in Switzerland, you pay CHF 73.00 more for the same product. Digitec Germany will probably be another million-dollar hole for Migros... like all attempts at expansion abroad. There is serious competition there...
On top of that, we have 12 percent less taxes. Migros has bought Digitec, the strategy is probably to preserve the price island of Switzerland with the two oligopolists Migros and Coop... It's actually quite strange when you consider that Migros and Coop are cooperatives that belong to the customers....
