Question about Audioengine D1 24-Bit Dac

Why is the impedance still described as 2 ohms? What headphone impedance can I control well with this DAC? Or what kind of amplifier should I add? I want to be able to use headphones up to 600 ohms.

As a test, I attached headphones with 50, 250 and 300 ohms - unfortunately I don't have more to choose from.
Conclusion: 300 ohms can be used without any problems, but there is not much room for improvement in volume. I could therefore imagine that the D1 would sound a bit quiet and flat with 600 Ohm headphones.

I am using a Focal Stellia with 35Ω, but according to AudioEngine up to 600Ω should also be possible (quote AE website): Recommended headphone impedance range
10 ohms to 600 ohms
