Why is a 3500X worse than a 3600? Does the X have any value at all? I know that you can also overclock Ryzens without an X. So what's the deal with this X?
Ryzen 5 3500X - 6 cores / 6 threads - 3.6 / 4.1 GHz
Ryzen 5 3600 - 6 cores / 12 threads - 3.6 / 4.2 GHz
The X models usually have a higher clock speed (~200 MHz) than the non X and/or a larger L3 cache.
