Wireless headsets usually work as follows: First, both signals (l and r) arrive at the right handset. Then the left signal is passed on from the right handset to the left handset. Sometimes vice versa.
If this path is disturbed (batteries of different strengths, greater consumption of one battery when telephoning, defective transmitting/receiving parts, even earrings (!)), interference can occur.

Possible remedies:
- Re-"Bluetooth pair" the earphones
- Factory reset
- Possibly update the firmware
- Update or reinstall the drivers only if used on a Win PC.
- Only for Win PC: Check the Bluetooth settings.
- Switch off all other third-party audio software such as Equaliser (Android).
- Shut down the phone completely and restart it.

It would be useful to try the earphones on another device. If the error still occurs, file a warranty claim.

I have the same problem, but only when I use it as a headset. No problem when I listen to music.
