Why aren't all samsung a54s compatible with esim?
Not the A54 yet, but the A54 5G should be.
The advantage of the A54 series is that you can still use memory cards.
For eSIM, you need the A54 5G, or the newer A55 series, which no longer accepts memory cards.

My daughter has an A54 5G bought from digitec (item number 24435232) and it is using an eSim from Swisscom.

The Samsung A series is the low-cost series from Samsung. The A 54 is already 1 year old. The new Samsung A 55, however, is E-Sim capable.
