Why are there headphones that are capable of emitting sounds at 40khz (like this one) when the human ear is only capable of hearing at 20khz?

Helpful answer

The main reason is sound quality, having higher frequencies avoids distortion or other types of sound problems.

Hello, I'm a bit late. The 20Khz you mention is the frequency of the sound, 20Khz being a very very high pitched sound.
The headphones say 40Khz, and that means that they can reproduce a sound recorded at a frequency of 40Khz, so a sound with more than twice as much sound material as a 20Khz recording.
