Which protocol does the device speak via WLAN? An extra app for this is out of the question for me. Especially as it doesn't run on the PC. And an account requirement (for the app) and the rights associated with the app are even more of a no-go.

The product is controlled via Tuya. This may or may not be the original Tuya app. It can also be any app or programme that supports the Tuya standard.
