Which cable do I need to connect to a 2013 or 2014 model Mac Apple computer?
The screen has HDMI and displayport connection available. So you will need to use the one that your MacBook has available. In my case, I have a Macbook Pro 2019, it only has USB-C conneciton, so I need to use a dongle, USB-C to HDMI, and I use an HDMI cable to connect to the screen.
It is a MacBook Pro. 13-inch mid 2012. It does not have an hdmi entrance :(

It depends on the model you have. 2013 and 2014 macbook pros have an HDMI conector, so you wouldn't need any additional cables. With a macbook air, it's a different story. You can check the model of your mac by clicking on the apple in the top right corner menu and then selecting "about this mac". With that info we can help you further :)
