When the powerbank is in the sun and charging a mobile phone, can the powerbank hold its charge or does it steadily lose charge? (Does it charge fast enough to compensate for the output?)
No, the solar panel is too small for that. However, the power of the battery is sufficient for a few days in nature without a power outlet.
