When I watch a video and then swipe my finger from left to right or from bottom to top, the brightness or volume changes each time. Can I deactivate this?

This is ZTE's own video player. You cannot deactivate anything with this player. Use another player from the Playstore. VLC Player or MX Player are good alternatives. With MX Player you can deactivate the individual gestures, which by default are exactly the same as with ZTE.
