When I mirror my macbook Air to the screen to work, the resolution is very poor. Is the product of poor quality or does it get better when I connect via the HDMI? Thank you
Of course, the quality on this screen is very poor, because it only has a modest 1920x1080 pixels and displaying that on 27 inches results in an incredibly poor picture quality and fonts are only displayed in pixels. Even an HDMI connection doesn't change anything. The pixels on this monitor are simply far too large and the resolution is far too poor.
My recommendation is to return the monitor. For about 290 francs, I would recommend this model M7 from Samsung, which enables razor-sharp text display on the Macbook Air, it is technically the same model as the M5 model, but offers the very good 4K 3840x2160 pixel display (4x more resolution than 1920x1080 pixels). It is slightly larger, but not by much, but you can benefit from the very good resolution and see more image content.
