Hello, the USB-C connector is for supplying power to the docking station.
The 3.5mm jack has 2 functions.
Either as an input for connecting 1 microphone or any other analogue source, or as an output for connecting to an amplifier in analogue mode.
I advise you to connect your station either digitally or via fibre optics, depending on the availability of your equipment.
These headphones are great for listening to TV, but not so good for music.

For charging

USB-C is another charging option if you don't want to charge it on the station.
