Question about Alphacool Icicle temperature sensor
What material is this made from? Is it nickel, or only nickel plated. I can't find any information even on the original website. I want to use this in a copper loop, I have read that nickel and copper together are similar and do not corrode like aluminum and copper. Is it true?
Yes you could mix cooper and nickel in the same loop. I believe it's painted cooper. I'm using it in my cooper/nickel plated loop for a half a year already - no corrosion.
