What kind of SATA does it have: SATA 1.5Gb/s, or SATA-II 3.0Gb/s, or SATA-III 6.0Gb/s?

I had an old part with USB2 480Megabit/s -> i.e. now it runs reasonably.
Practicable values: Before 30MegaByte/s to about 300MegaByte/s (in theory even 450MegaByte/s).

According to information: full bus speed of SATA, therefore 1.5 Gigabit/s and thus within the scope of USB3.0 (Gen1) with 5Gigabit/s.

Although theoretically up to 6 gigabits (not Gbytes) per second could be possible, in practice only a fraction of this is achieved. De facto a very slow connection; only suitable for testing hard disks or for occasional use; certainly not for fast copying.

I was able to read a similar product (Icy Box IB-123CL-U3) with a USB TTL adapter (the SoC) and can determine an average data transfer rate of 245 Mbytes/s when cloning from a 16 TB HDD to a second one; this corresponds to approx. 1.9 Gigabit/s and is without USB communication.
