You really can't do much wrong. The board supports practically every current RAM module.
With LGA 1151 CPUs only dualchannel is supported... It makes a difference whether you have 1x32 or 2x16 Whether 2x16 or 4x8 is irrelevant. 2x16 makes more sense because you can reuse it better.
