What is the reason that I have no 5G reception with the Sony Xperia 5 II? I don't even see the 5G networks when I switch to manual network selection.

Interestingly, it now works. Presumably the provider-side activation took longer. Topic closed.

I think that the mobile subscription does not allow 5G (I also have one of these (old)).
