Question about Miele TWH 700-80 CH
What is the power consumption of the THW 700-80CH? I see the yearly usage in KWh, but that doesn't look very useful (I guess it depends on the household size). On the niele website I found 1.1KW and that it can take 3 hours to dry. so that would be 3.3KWh but that sounds way too much. Any help?
We rarely have the tumble dryer completely full and we can't complain about the running time.
Of course, I've never calculated the power consumption.
But the operating instructions definitely say 1.4 kWh for 9 kg of cotton cupboard dry, which results in a running time of 166 minutes if a spin speed of 1200 rpm is used for the washing machine. At 1600 rpm it is then 1.15kWh and 141min. If the load is halved to 4.5kg, the duration is reduced by approx. 60- 80min

So, the energy label is A+++. That says it all, doesn't it? I don't know the consumption per hour, but the laundry dries EXTREMELY quickly. I'm always amazed. We previously had an Electrolux heat pump dryer for about 10 years, which took almost twice as long per load. The Miele dryer is amazing.
