What is the difference between this screen and the Dell S2721DGFA product (the A at the end is additional) and why the price difference of approx. CHF150?

Im Netz habe ich das gefunden was scheinbar auf niedrigere Standard Helligkeit hindeutet (neue EU Regulation).

i've talked to someone who is in charge of the monitors at dell.

he told me that the S2721DGFA was introduced because of this EU regulatory which came into effect on nov 1st.

S2721DGF and S2721DGFA are technically the same, only the out of the box power consumption is different and was adjusted in the new firmware.

therefore S2721DGF is not manufactured anymore and got replaced by the S2721DGFA.

I have the DGF variant, my brother has the DGFA variant. We compared the two monitors out of interest, and we couldn't find any difference. Neither in terms of quality nor in terms of features. Even the brightness was the same (at least for our eyes).

I would simply take the cheapest model. (It might be worth waiting, because I bought the monitor second-hand for 340 CHF and the original price was 370 CHF. I wouldn't take it for the 590 it costs now).
