Question about Microsoft Wireless Controller

What is the difference between this model from 2025 (EP2-29930) and the original Series X controller from 2020 (QAT-00009)? They look absolutely identical, but something must have changed.

No known differences. I didn't have the 2020 one at all. But the controller feels very light. And if you're asking about the stick drift, then I can disappoint you. There is nothing mechanical in the controller. It is slightly lighter, maybe up to 30 grammes. If you own the one from 2020, you may only be able to recognise a very small difference in the design. But otherwise there is no official mention of the Bluetooth version from Microsoft. I think a newer version has been installed. But so far nothing is really known. And unfortunately nobody has done a review of it yet. So nobody can answer your question.

I bought both, only the packaging is different. The controllers are identical.
Not a big difference. EP2-29930 is just a slightly revised version with a better grip texture, hybrid D-pad, share button and possibly slightly lower weight. Technology and functions are the same.

Thanks, Digitec-KI, but I've already found the meaningless Kotaku article, which I'm not even sure is about this controller.
