What is the difference between this landline phone and the Gigaset E560 HX? Is it one without a cradle? I need it for my parents. They always have two landline phones in the house, which are connected to each other. Does this work with these?

The E560 (CH version) is an analogue landline telephone that is connected directly to the telephone socket and does not require a DECT base station. The Gigaset E560 HX is a cordless DECT handset that is operated on a DECT base station (e.g. router or Gigaset base) and does not have its own station.
With the E560 (CH version), you can operate two landline telephones in the house that are connected to each other when both are connected to the telephone socket. The E560 HX only works as a handset on a DECT base and not as a stand-alone landline phone. The E560 (CH version) would be more suitable for your parents if they need two interconnected landline phones.
Yes, if you order the Gigaset E560 (CH version) twice, you will have two complete sets, i.e. one each:
- 1 handset - 1 base station (with mains adapter) - 1 charging cradle - Connection cable - Operating instructions
You are now fully equipped to operate two telephones in your home. No, this is also feasible for non-professionals. Registering a second handset to a base station is done in just a few steps:
- Start the registration process on the main device (base station) (see the instructions). - Select "Register handset" in the menu on the second handset. - Enter the PIN code of the base station (usually 0000 by default). - The handset is connected after a few seconds.
Both devices can then be used:
- ring simultaneously - make internal calls (e.g. from kitchen to living room) - forward calls
So we would have to order the Gigaset E560 (CH version) twice - does that include everything we need? And then we can connect them together ourselves? Or do we need a technician for this, as a layman?
