What is the difference between the LOGITECH G915 and the LOGITECH G915 X version? The X is newer (release date) and cheaper than the non-X version. But I don't really see a difference.

According to AI:

The difference between the Logitech G915 and the G915X gaming keyboard can be summarised in several points, based on the information available:

**1. switch design:**
- **G915:** Utilises the original GL switches.
- **G915X:** Has a redesigned galvanic switch with a cross-shaped shaft made of POM, which improves the stability of the keys and provides a better, quieter typing experience. The pressure point of the switches has been reduced from 1.5 mm to 1.3 mm, enabling faster actuation.

**2. keycaps:**
- **G915:** Uses ABS keycaps.
- **G915X:** Uses double-coated, transparent PBT keycaps, which are more resistant and make dirt more visible.

**3. height and design:**
- Both models are very slim, but the G915X is described as one of Logitech's thinnest wireless gaming keyboards, at just 23mm high.

**4. battery life:**
- **G915:** Provides up to 30 hours of gaming time with full RGB brightness and LIGHTSPEED connectivity.
- **G915X:** Has improved battery life, up to 36 hours with full RGB brightness and LIGHTSPEED connection, and up to 800 hours with lights off.

**5. connectivity:**
- Both keyboards offer tri-mode connectivity (LIGHTSPEED, Bluetooth, and wired), but the G915X explicitly highlights this and emphasises the performance improvement without compromising battery life.

**6. additional functions:**
- **G915X:** Introduces the "KEYCONTROL" feature, which allows any key to be turned into a macro that can execute multiple commands. This offers more personalisation and control options.

**7. materials and workmanship:**
- **G915X:** Has a reinforced aluminium plate that has been increased from 1.2 mm to 1.5 mm thickness, which improves the texture and typing experience.

In summary, the G915X offers a number of improvements over the original G915, particularly in terms of the switches, keycaps, battery life and additional functions for customisation and control. These upgrades aim to further optimise the gaming experience and make the keyboard more attractive to both gamers and high-end users.

But whether it's really better, I don't know
