Question about Samsung Galaxy S22
What is the difference between S22 and S22 EU? Why is there one model with Samsung Pay and one without? (big price difference) Can I give this to someone who lives in South Africa, are there any more restrictions like years ago? Thanks for info

The difference is that EU models do not support Samsung Pay in Switzerland, as correctly seen, and other payment functions cannot always be used, as these are intended for the EU market. However, as these are available in different quantities, this affects the price.
For someone in South Africa, this would also mean some limitations in functions. This is still a problem with these devices.
