What is the difference between model ST-1144 and ST-1144U?

Unfortunately, we could not find the model without U. We assume that they are identical products.

One difference is the supplied CD-Rom with the driver on it. Otherwise there is probably none. Interestingly, the Cherry website lists both versions one after the other with slightly different descriptions. The ST-1144U seems to be the latest model and works fine.
