What is the difference between 30 W and 45 W? How do I know which one I need?

The 30W and 45W indicate the power at the USB-C port.
For mobile phones, cameras, etc., 30W is sufficient without any problems
If you want to charge a laptop via USB-C, I would recommend 45W.
Just take 45W, it's cheaper anyway ;)
