What is the data transfer speed? I would like to use the disc in a TimeMachine backup of the Macbook Pro.

I also bought this hard drive. The data transfer is ultra slow. I would not buy it again.

After a short time, the USB-C socket on this device was broken (mechanical, plug no longer fits): Do NOT buy would be my recommendation.
